DaPinoGraphics wasn’t accessible for 10 hours

Dear members, readers, visitors of DaPinoGraphics.com,

I access my website this morning. I’ve got the error “Forbidden. You don’t have permission to access on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request”

It’s strange and very annoying. So in this post I’ll explain what happened.

I contact immediately WPWebhost and went to Cpanel. The error page displayed the following error: (13)Permission denied: /home/dapinogr/public_html/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable.

So I & WPWebhost support changed the file permission to 755 or 777 for testing but result still the same.

I received 403 error also last October 2009. WPWebhost support changed the permissions for the public html and www folder. So I did what WPWebhost did last October. Results: DaPinoGraphics is accessible again after 10 hours.

I saw in my logs, DaPinoGraphics wasn’t accessible for 10 hours! I really don’t know why this kind of errors come spontaneously. I didn’t work in Cpanel or something like that for weeks. I asked WPWebhost but I’m still waiting for an answer.

UPDATE: here the answer of WPWebhost support:”From my understanding, there is no maintenance on the server that hosts your site and actually this is the first time we noticed such issue happended. We shall monitor on the issue.”

However, thanks to WPWebhost for friendly and fast support as always.
Sorry for the inconvenience, especially to my Premium Members.

I created some Pink Ribbon vector graphics/icons, an e-card and donate world wide breast cancer organisations.

This year, Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon day is on Monday, October 26th. Pink Ribbon Day is your chance to help raise money and awareness for all world wide women affected by breast cancer. For as much as we do to help improve survival rates and treatments, the fact is there is still so much more to be done.

Show your support also of breast cancer by making a donation.

You’ve landed at DaPino’s renewed website !
A  new domain with Portfolio & Royalty Free Vector Graphics.

As I wrote previously, I kept myself busy, apart from my regular business, with building these websites for my portfolio and with selling royalty free vector graphics including a commercial license (!) for attractive prices (from € 2,50 until € 10,-). Buyers (also for commercial license), become a Premium Member automatically!

I can imagine you think “DaPino is crazy, I go for the free downloads at DaPino Colada“. 

Yes, you are still welcome for free vector graphics at DaPino Colada and as Premium Member here.
But new vector graphics come only in the Premium Member section from now on and will be not published at DaPino- Colada anymore. Content at DaPino Colada will remain but rarely updated  with new content.

What’s published here, is just the start for more regular new vector graphics, etc ….

Porfolio
In addition to the shopping area, here you’ll also find my portfolio. During the building process of this website, I was thinking, this isn’t efficient. Separation of the shopping area and portfolio means I should have to maintain 3 websites [together with DaPino Colada].
Concentration of all my products and services in one place gives a better overview for you as a visitor, as well for myself.
